Firstly, thanks to all of you who have given me such positive feedback on my Henry 365 project (mostly via Facebook). It’s been a challenging one to keep up, especially with some kit malfunctioning thanks to the subject of my project AKA, the boy! It’s hard to believe I’m close to 180 days in already. If you haven’t been following my project, take a look at The Photography Obsessive
Unfortunately, outside of this project, things have been a little quiet for TDP in the last 12 months. It has forced me to have a big rethink and I have now laid plans for a new photographic direction. I have been working on this for the last couple of months and I feel ready to share it with you all now!
I’m combining my love of music and gigs with my photography. A formula that’s perhaps a little overdue and is unbelievably, already proving fruitful.
It’s going amazingly well, I’ve had some superb feedback as well as getting some widespread publicity. Astoundingly, I have been published this week following my second session and had a grand board of photos displayed outside of a performance of West Side Story locally. I have more gigs lined up and I’m presently working on more venues. So onwards and upwards I guess!
If gig photography floats your boat, take a peek at http://TDPgigs.wordpress.com for my latest work.
Thanks in advance and I hope you like it!
